The following steps will allow you to create a neat little BB Code for your guitar chords postings in vBulletin 4cms.

Admincp> Custom BB Codes > Add new BB Code

In the fields provided add the following:

Title: Chords
BB Code Tag Name: chord

Replacement: <pre>{param}</pre>

Example: [chord] Your chords here[/chord]
Button Image (Optional): /images/misc/chords.gif

Remove Tag If Empty        : Yes
Disable BB Code Within This BB Code        : No
Disable Smilies Within This BB Code        : Yes
Disable Word Wrapping Within This BB Code: Yes

Click Save.

Upload the image attached to this posting to the above mentioned location /images/misc/

Make your banner the size of the width of the forum.

Upload the banner to the location:

sitename.com/<rootpath>/images/misc/<filename.ext>   (no angel brackets)

Go to the admincp

Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > dropdown: StyleVars > Image Paths > Title Image

And change the name of the file there to match your file name – including changing the extension.

Save and reload your website.
